In july 2001, Bruno presented as first belgian graduate of the Royal Academy for Fine Arts Antwerp a couture collection during Paris Couture Week. The collection was titled part I: daywear. the suit. The first couture collection was a small presentation of 12 pieces based on the study of one item, a 1950’s inspired suit.

Launching his first complete ready to wear collection in March 2002, his latest collections are inspired by Pieters' penchant for technique and craftmanship.
Bruno Pieters is first and foremost a “couturier", a technicien who experiments with shape and proportion in his collections.
